1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Signal1st service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. The Service

Signal1st monitors public discussions on social platforms and communities such as Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, and Stack Overflow to identify posts that signal buyer intent, and alerts you when relevant conversations occur. The Service includes a website, application interfaces, and any related documentation or features we provide.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service you must create an account by providing a valid business email address and the website of your business. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us promptly at hello@signal1st.io of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempting to access, scrape, or interfere with the Service, its systems, or other users' accounts.
• Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent.
• Using the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person or to infringe the rights of others.

5. Fees and Plans

The Service is offered under the plans described on our website. We may introduce new plans or change the features and pricing of existing plans from time to time, and we will notify you of any changes that affect your subscription. Paid subscriptions may be subject to additional terms provided at the point of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Signal1st or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

7. Your Data

You retain all rights to the information you provide to us, including your business details and any profiles you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and use this information to provide and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

8. Third-Party Content

The Service surfaces content from third-party platforms and communities. We do not own that content and are not responsible for it. Your use of any third-party platform is subject to that platform's own terms and policies.

Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the signals and alerts it provides will be complete or accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal1st shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signal1st and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Signal1st is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
